Our history, our raison d'être
Avant-garde has always been in inclusiveness and highlighting of diversity, Aldjia Ait-Meddour creates Mix Beauty, the first and unique concept store of global and multi-ethnic beauty in France, in 2010. Which makes her An ambassador of inclusiveness for 13 years. A subject that was not taken seriously and in consideration but which has always been at the heart of Aldjia's concerns.
Wanting to go even further in his journey as a entrepreneur and activist for inclusiveness, Aldjia Ait-Meddour launched in 2021 JIA Paris.
After pushing the concept of social diversity until the distribution of cosmetics and in beauty, the observation is bitter. Too few French brands offer hair care products unanimous with customers, men and women with textured natural hair.
As Professor Sonbon Somé said, "it is in the difference that the concept of equality takes on its full meaning".
Each personality is unique. Each hair is unique. As well as needs. Also, each texture deserves on the part of beauty professionals an equal attention and an answer adapted to its specificities.
And if our brand is aimed at cosmopolitan beauties, it is not, however: identity, design, research, development, manufacturing and distribution are 100% made in France.
