Protein, what is it?
Protein is one of the main constituents of our hair. It is not only a vital nutrient for the body, it is also a key element in maintaining health capillary.
The hair is mainly composed of keratin, a fibrous protein which gives them strength and elasticity. Protein deficiency can make hair dull, fragile and likely to break easily. Indeed, when protein intake is insufficient, the body tends to ration the protein available by redistributing it to vital organs, thus leaving hair in the last priority. What is the lack of protein in the hair?

How do I know if my hair lacks protein?
Hair lacking in protein generally has the following characteristics:
- Drought: Hair will tend to be much drier than usual.
- Dull hair: they will lack shine.
- Backy hair: due to the drought caused by the lack of protein, the hair will become brittle, forks.
- Lack of elasticity: your lengths will have much less rebound and flexibility.
Protein deficiencies can affect all hair types, whether smooth or textured (wavy, curly, curly and frizzy).
